Rubber Antioxidant IPPD (4010NA)

Rubber Antioxidant

Chemical Name: N-Isopropyl-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine

Molecular Formula: C15H18N2

Molecular Weight: 226.32

CAS No: 101-72-4

Properties: Purple to purple brown flaky or spherical particals. Insoluble in water, insoluble in gasoline. Soluble in oils, benzene, ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, carbon dioxide and so on. Exposure to air discolors and is less toxic. In case of high heat combustible flames, the powder forms an explosive mixture in the air.

Application: IPPD is a general antioxidant among amine antioxidants. Its performance of preventing ozone-related ageing and flex cracking is good. The product can also provide good protection against thermo-oxidative ageing and light ageing.  IPPD is used for natural rubber and synthetic rubbers such as styrenebutadiene rubber, cisbutadiene rubber, and nitrile rubber. The product is easy to disperse in rubber materials. And it is irritating to skin.

Packaging:25kg kraft paper bag.

Storage: The product should be stored in the dry and cooling place with good ventilation, avoiding exposure of the packaged product to direct sunlight.
