2402 resin is the 100% percentage fat soluble phenolic resin with advantages of light-color, high transparency, high Hydroxymethyl and suitable softening point. As a rubber accelerator, it is used for butyl rubber, natural rubber, Styrene Butadiene Rubber(SBR), silicone and especially vulcanized butyl rubber.

Main Applications

1. This product is a rubber vulcanizing agents for butyl rubber, natural rubber, Styrene Butadiene Rubber(SBR), especially suitable for butyl rubber. It can enhance the heat resistance of butyl rubber and have advantage of small deformation, good heat durability, high ductility and small stretch ability. The reference dosage is 5-10 parts to produce heat-durable butyl rubber products.

2. To produce neoprene adhesive. This resin has good miscibility with neoprene and the finishing neoprene adhesive can enhance the heat resistance and adhesion. It is especially used for shoes adhesive like grafting adhesive. The performance can compete with the similar imported resin.

3. In coating industry, the resin can be used as material for exterior enamel paint, floor paint, marine paint, anti-rust paint, water-based ink and thin layer anti-rust oil product. It can be produced into nitrolacquer with drying oil after heating. This nitrolacquer has advantages of good gloss, water proof, environment resistance, UV resistance, anti-chemical corrosion and electrical insulating property.

4. This resin can be used as vulcanizing agents, reinforcing agents and thickening agents for producing polyester fiber insulating tape, tubing corrosion glue and tape. It can enhance the product applicable performance and life. This product also has a broad development prospects in other industry.

5. 2402 resin mix with terpene resin will have much better performance.
